Hey guys,

I'm in need of some more mags for my P226- where do you guys find the best prices are? Are there any good aftermarket solutions?

Also, I need to find some rubber base pads for them, so they don't get destroyed during courses. Tips?

Thanks!

I'd normally just picked up the odd mag from the EE or from the retailers here when they run their discounts. You can usually get Mecgar ones for a little cheaper than Sig ones.

Beretta 92 rubber base plates work on the Sig mags perfectly, just in case you can't find Sig marked ones.

marstar has them for 34.99

Last time I got mine I ordered them from Mec-Gar directly. Maybe now you can find them from one of the site sponsors as well.

Follow up to this for anyone interested;

I did buy some Mec-Gar mags, which have performed just fine so far.

I also ordered some base plates from IMI defense that worked very well. However; the removable base plates don't work on the mec-gar mags, as there are no removable plates on the bottom of them. What I did was separate the metal backing plate from the rubber part of the IMI pieces, and very sturdily glued them to the bottom of the mags. They don't sit perfectly flush like the Sig mags do with the bases swapped, but for my class function > form.
