Sig magazines/Kel-tec sub 2000

Hi folks,
Wondering if anyone knows, I'm going to order a Kel-tec sub 2000 in 9mm, You get a few options for mag choices, Glock, Beretta, Sig. I have a Sig 229Elite in 9mm with extra mags. On Kel-tec's site the Sig mag they talk about is for the 226, are they interchangeable with the 229's mags ?

Well, that all depends. 226 mags wil work in a 229, but standard length 229 mags will not work in a 226 because the baseplate prevents them from engaging the mag catch.

So really, it all depends on if they had the foresight to design the magazine well to be short enough for both 226 AND 229 magazines...

If it says 226 mags a 229 will not work. It's like asking if a Glock 19 mag will fit a Glock 17.

It would make sense to make them to take 226 mags and not 229.

Although, regardless, if you don't own a Glock or Beretta, if I were you, I'd go the SIG route anyways. Then even if you have to buy 226 mags, you can use those in the 229 as well as the 2000....
