Sig MCX Anyone?

I asked them about it and was told it would be Restricted because it looks a bit like an AR. The MPX in .177 would also be Restricted, I assume because of the velocity (even though it isn't centre fire). The MPX in .22 is <500 fps = no license at all. Don't get me started on the rules...
I have asked them to take another look as none of them are centre fire so do not fall under that classification.
In any case as far as I am aware, none are available direct in Canada, not even sure the .22 are available anywhere though looking at UK websites such as BAR, could be imminent.
