Shooting the pistol and every now and then the mag drops...not me doing it, and I'm almost positive I'm not slapping the mag release with my palm...Going to the range tomorrow to check it out again...Try one handed, right hand...If the same thing happens I've got a mag release problem...anybody else run into this? Brand new unfired pistol when this happened...
Sig Mk 25 mag issue..

I have a Mk25, never had this problem but I can say it sometimes feels as if the mag doesn't seat properly. Maybe that's the issue? Haven't had a dropped mag, but I've had feed issues that went away after a couple hundred rounds and reseating the mag post misfire.
Funny, i have a bunch of mags for my Sig, and the only ones that don't work the way i want them to are the factory ones. The MecGar and Italian generic ones from Corwin-Arms work flawlessly. All feed 100%, but the factory won't drop free without assistance.
Most guns come from the factory full of spooge. Sig's are no exception. I'd tear out the mag release, and clean, deburr and lubricate then try again.
