Sig Mosquito not cycling.

I can never understand why people are willing to put up with all kinds of crap and issues to make a gun work that should work right out of the box?

My way of thinking is that this just makes the company keep on making and marketing this stuff.

Even when you get them to work, and I know they will work it is just a matter of time before they break. There has been all kinds of posts on here with pictures showing the huge failures.

There are so many other good .22 pistols for less money to buy out there and they just work.

Just my two cents worth.

I bought it used from an online auction and live in the middle of no where so can't just return it. That's why!
Look up where I live then you might understand why I have taken up gunsmithing as a hobby.

I meant no disrespect grey wolf my comments were more directed at people who know they are no good and still buy them.

Heck I bought one myself years ago before all these posts were around. It did not take me long to realize I had made a big mistake and as soon as I realized this I cut my loses and took a big loss and sold it.

I probably would have never bought one after all the terrible (and true) things I'd heard about them. But I got mine in a package trade I did, pretty much a 'throw in' that cost me virtually nothing ($50?). Much to my surprise, I found it to be a fun little plinker which has been very reliable (after I gave it a damn good cleaning and oiled the daylights out of it), the kids and I have put thousands of rounds down it. Don't know why mine works when so many don't, but glad it does. I tend to agree with you about not buying 'cheap garbage guns' Graydog, I'm not one to buy crap, but am quite happy this one fell in to my hands. I don't defend all Mosquitos, but I can't fault the one I have.

None taken.
I read reviews on them and. like this thread, some got good ones some got bad ones SO I rolled the dice and TADA got a bad one, sort of.
Now I have it running I am going to shoot it until it breaks, wears out or I die of old age whichever comes first and for what I paid for it maybe Frankengun it at some point.
