Sig Mosquito or P22 for big hands?

I've been thinking about a Sig Mosquito or P22 but I have large hands and their grips look pretty small. I find pistols with small, short grips difficult to grip properly. I had a Ruger and have a High Standard and their grips fit just fine. Any experience or thoughts?

The P22 is not for you then. Not at all. The grip is very, very small compared to just about anything else on the market in Canada. The Mosquito has a lot more of a normal size grip. It is supposed to be 90% the size of P226, and that is probably about right. It is slimmer than a P226 but it is not a tiny gun like the P22.

I did this thread on the P22 and the Mosquito awhile back:

I don't know if I have big hands but my P220 and G21 are comfortable. My P22 is on the small side but I don't have a problem with the grip. Easiest would be to see how the fit for you, even better if you could try putting a couple of rounds through each.

I have held both, and definatly the mosquito for grip size. I have medium hands and the p22 was not comfortable for me. Finger Groves are nice tho

I didn't mind the the P22 in my hands. I've got some bear paws attached to my arms too. They engulfed the gun, but it was still accurate and fun to shoot. Just my $0.02
