Just purchased one on the EE and I love the look and feel of it, and takedown is simple, but when I was shooting it at the range it would not cycle the action to feed the next round. I tried Winchester,Remington High Velocity ammo and it just does not work. I have the standard spring in mine which is for HV ammo, but apparently the gun also comes with a white spring for the Lower Velocity ammo. Since I don't have this does anyone know where I can get one, and will this solve my issue. Should I just cut a coil off the spring I have now and fine tune it for the ammo I like (Winchester HV 40gr solids) this ammo works great in all my 22's, or is the white spring the answer. I realize if I shoot CCI Min-Mags or Stingers out of it, it will probably function, but those rounds are costly for a plinking gun. I forgot to mention that my Mosquito has the threaded barrel as well, if that makes any difference.

There is a lot written/talked about on this gun. Most of what I have read is use the CCI mini mags. other people have luck with other brands but the bulk of what I have read is keep the gun clean and use CCI mini mags.

shoot only CCI mini mags for a while...and after that it should be a lot better.

at least that's what worked for me. I bought mine new and it was crap...then i put maybe 500 rounds of mini mags in it and now it well feed bulk ammo without any issues.

There are two springs that come with the gun, one installed and one just comes with it together in a bag with alternate front sights. The white is the weaker one and the black is the stronger one.

It is not actually white (I think Sig stopped painting them white a shile ago) - the "white" is the longer one of the two springs.

If you look closely you will notice both of these springs have one end slightly smaller then the other end. You need to make sure the tapered end goes on the guide pin and the wider end goes to the slide.
