Just got off the phone with Ryan at Wolverine and ordered a Sig Mosquito. Sadly you can only buy it with all the trash attached to it. Oh well, more junk for the parts drawer. Anybody else buy one? I can't wait to get mine. I wanted a decent 22lr autoloader for awhile now.

They installed an extended barrel.. No 12(6) required.

Laniru, couldn't you just sell the scope mount and scope for say, $150 or something, and have the Sig for $350 net?

Still sounds like a good deal to me! I'm sure that scope mount will fit any accessory rail on handguns, no?

I never seem to sell any gun or accessory I buy...silly me. And yes, for $515, I am quite happy. They don't have any spare mags though...would have liked a half dozen or so. I guess I can wait.;) I also laid down a deposit on a USP Tactical compact. I gotta beat my wife to the mailbox when my Visa statement comes...she would just sh!t!!!:D

Reviews for the mosquito arent very good. Supposed to have a very heavy trigger and ammo finnicky.

Talked to Ryan about that...he says the S/A pull is quite reasonable at about 4.5 lbs, but the D/A pull is awful at about 12 lbs. I don't do alot of D/A shooting so I'm unconcerned. Besides, Brock at Hunter's will want to take it apart as soon as I get it to scope out a trigger job...he is great that way!:p

Do a search on a sigforum.com. Lots of complaints about jamming.

Just saw ours for the first time today and boy were we impressed. Even if you don't want all the extra stuff you can't beat the price.. We doubled our order on the spot.

So how did Wolverine get these with the 122mm barrel?? Did SIG make up a special order to ship into Canada??.... Also how many did they get in and are they able to get more??:D :D

If I recall, the mosquito is 105mm, they should have made a special 106mm barrel, not a 122mm threaded with a thread cap... make it better looking..
I hope some dealer could get the Inox version here.. those are nice

I was thinking the same thing. It really would look better with the 106mm barrel

Just saw one at P&D at lunch, felt quite nice and the trigger really wasnt too bad at all.

Out came Mr. Visa and I hope to be taking it home from the store on Monday and then out to the range to try out.

I hope the Glocks and CZs in the safe wont fight with the SIG.
