Alright Vortex has pulled the final straw and you are talking to a die hard fan boy who owned most optics and red dots at one point or the other.

Educate me on sig scopes (are any MRAD FFP?) but more importantly the Romeo 3 and 4 looking for a new shotgun optic that the circle optic on the 4 would fit the bill and love the auto on feature as it's my home and predator defence go to.

Also looking at the 3 due to light weight.

Do the 3 and 4 have a NV setting?

Also if anyone has any in stock would be helpful everyone in Canada seems to be sold out or maxed on msrp.

Thanks for feedback.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes the story of sig optics is a bunch of high ups from multiple high end company's all left and Sig gave them the run of the place. I truely believe it will be a vortex type situation, jump on early models at great prices because once a fan base is established the quality will go down and prices up.

I'll be in Edmonton this weekend if Wild West is open I know they had a couple but don't list model on their sites and they can be over priced at times. So I'd rather verify than be disappointed when it arrives.

(I like vortex glass but dont trust their electronic, I have fried a number of items from them)

I hope the Sig stuff works well for the people that like to beat them up.

FWIW, I run a Sig Kilo 2000 Rangefinder and it works awesome. Will occasionally die in the cold but pretty much every electronic I've owned has done that at one time or another.

Last winter I lost the eye cup on my Kilo, so I contacted Sig customer service thinking they'd just send me another like Vortex had in the past. Problem is, Sig Sauer cannot ship anything across the border so they passed me onto their Sig customer service in Canada (MD Charlton). My experience with them was less than stellar. They didn't have any replacement parts, and didn't know when they could get any. They told me to ship my rangefinder to them and they'd see if they could replace the rubber eyecup... I ended up contacting Sig in the states again and they shipped out a rubber eyecup to my uncle who lives in the states and then he just brought it up on his next visit. So to summarize, I like the product, USA customer service is great, Canada's not so much.

Think I'm going Romeo 4H don't really need the S with the solar panel for the extra 100$ I Run has them all in stock and almost the full line of Sig optics.

Was told orders before the 15th will be at my door first week of Dec.

The Sig red dots bear a very uncanny similarity to the Holsoun optics. I would not be surprised if they originate from the same place. That being said, the Holosuns that I have purchased over the last number of years have been excellent and are still giving great service.

SIG addressed that and confirmed they are not made in the same factory and they did not use them as an OEM platform. Does not mean they didn't steal the design though.

Unfortunately that seems to be par for the course dealing with SIG in Canada and it's sole importer.......
