Sig or CZ

There are both great pistols but as stated before, try them both to see which one "fits" you the best. Now that being said, there are both accurate and well balacned but one thing a can not get over is the thugleyness of the CZ Shadow. I know I'll get blasted for saying that but it just my taste. I would own one as it does the job so well for IDPA.

I own a Sig 226 Elite in 9mm and wouldn't sell it for anything. I absolutely love this gun so my vote go's to the Sig.

From what I've heard the shadow is just a little too heavy to actually qualify for IDPA but I could be wrong.

New grips, and some slight mods and it can qualify from what Ive read!

Yes I've heard that too but never heard what exactly these other mods are.

I love my Sig P226 in 9mm.

I can't decide if I buy another P226 or the Sig 1911(GSR). Probably another P226 but with threaded barrel

I believe that you only have to change the grips to get it under the weight required. It makes it only by and a fraction but it does make it.

I'm very pleased with my CZ 75 SP-01, but I've always loved the Sig as well. There are so many guns i'd love to own, but funds being limited, and 'better-half-approval' being unlikely, i have to be selective about my wants lol. A Sig 226 is definitely in my future, though.

I think after I go full circle with handguns I'll end up getting a another P226 at some point down the road.
