SIG owners would probably enjoy watching this

.lol..

thats as stupid as the Glock torture tests....

i much rather see real life torture tests, i read an article where a 220 had 10,000 rds through it in a day without a hiccup!

Yup, the tests are certainly not scientific, more hype than anything else really. "To hell and back reliability": confirmed! Still kind of fun to watch though.

yeah, +1 here.

I mean, ok, dropping it (not from a helicopter, but just normal height) and having it work, and letting it drop in mud or something and having it work - those are good tests, and applicable to target shooting, LE, and military. But driving over it with a Cat? Dropping it frozen from the helicopter? Please...

Did you notice how they said the Cat drove over it on "near concrete" surface - it was grass! I bet if it was concrete, the gun would not have worked afterwords (but that's simple physics, and not the fault of Sig...)

I noticed that they did not show a mag change when they were shooting it and there was no view of the target. I wonder why. Could the sights have been moved?

If those two had done that to one of my Sigs, there would have been a long one-sided talk at the end of a nightstick, ASP, axe handle, or some other device to get their attention.

Sorry...Glock Abuse may be silly, but at least in his videos he slaps a mag in and fires the gun right out of the bucket of salt and dirt, and also right after he dropped it from the plane.

I'd like to see a SIG go through a barrel of salt and baby powder, or be left in a sock soaked in salt water for a week.

No gun would have survived that Cat’s pneumatic hammer – maybe a howitzer but it would still #### up the breach. Those guys are clown’s where are they from some, a US TV show?

I don't think they acutaly fired the hammer, just pressed it into the ground a bit.

+1, it would be in piece if they do...

even thought I am a SIG owner and love my 226. I have to agree this so called torture test is lame... LAME...

aha they said they even "pummeled" it into the ground. it looked more like the hammer was caressing it to me

Yeah not too scientific lol. I like my Sig but I think if it was ran over on conrete it would probably break. Still neat, though I guess. :D
