Sig P2022?

I've got one of the police trade ins in .40 that Dlask was selling a while back (2023?). Not a bad gun except for the really heavy DAO trigger. It is at least as accurate as I am. Never had any problems with it but I've only put about 500 rounds through it (Fed, Win, and my own handloads) due to the nasty trigger. No FTF, FTE, or any other problems. IIRC I paid ~$300 for it with a Fobus holster and mag pouch and three mags.

All and all a decent gun for what I paid. If I was to do it again I would avoid the DAO trigger. The traditional Sig system with the de-cocker is much better. I mainly wanted to see if I liked the Sig ergonomics for a reasonable price, and found I much preferred the lower bore axis of the Glock. YMMV as always...

I have a 2022, the trigger is deffinatly set up for LEO's. I still take it to the range if that means anything. I got a bumb extractor on mine from the factory, so it was a jamomatic when i got it mainly FTE's. I got a new extractor put in locally i didn't want to ship it off. Since the new extractor, zero issues a few thousand rounds later. My wife can't shoot it, trigger is too heavy, the grips don't fit her hands well ither, she has small hands.

I got mine because they are supposed to be reliable, i like the idea of to hell and back reliability. Since the new extractor i am impressed with mine, the fit and finish are top notch. Everything is smoother than my glocks, not knocking glocks but sig just seems to take more time on the small things.

Shopping for a handgun and saw this one at a local gun store at a decent price. I've fired the P226 and 229 and like them. it is in 9mm.

anyone with any input on this model? I'm totally unfamiliar
It's a decent gun, but not as nice as Sig's metal frame pistols.
