sig p210

Great article, but it appears to represent a sample of 1, so I am hesitant to make the same generality. Based on the test targets shipped with the respective guns there is a much greater difference. The P210-6S I currently have in stock has a 33mm group on the 50m test target.

Of how many rounds though - those are ten-shot groups remember. I think my P210-6 came with a 5-shot group on the target but somehow I seem to have lost the test target.

Anyway, it's not as if a Les Baer long slide or a S&W Target Champion are cheap. The Target Champion goes for the equivalent of $3,100 Canadian in Germany.

thanks for all of the info guys, $3000 plus for a handgun is alittle of of my range for now. Will wait for the political climate to cool before persuing this purchase. Would like to fondle one if given the chance. Bought a HK 23 just on looks and pictures. Got lucky shelling out the $2000 because I really like it and shoot it alot. Plus I owned HKs in the past, P9S/P7s. Don't know if I'll have the same luck with the sig. I shoot the p226 in the navy and think thats it an ok, but liked the old Browning Hipower better. I have big meat hooks so will take heed on the hammer bite. Like I said, like to fondle one first.

For those interested, note that the P210 series is being discontinued by Swiss Arms. They will continue to support the guns with parts and service, but no new guns will be produced.

Hey Redleg, some US gun site offer the P210 as a factory refurbish like the current P220 family, for a lower cost, Any such luck in Canada? John

Not from Swiss Arms, that is who we deal with.

I'm not surprised to hear its discontinued.

I don't think too many shooters are willing to pay that kind of price for a 9mm, even if it is the best. Makes you wonder how many they are selling per year.

Rod.:)

Sales are steady, but they are streamlining their production facility to deal with the increased demand for military rifles.
