I have had mine for over a year. It's extremely accurate and with quality high-velocity ammo, it's as reliable as a rimfire pistol can be.

I don't have the modified mags, but if you can count to 10, there is no reason to spend more money on modified mags.

What's nice about the .22 conversion kit is that you don't have to buy upgrades twice for your P226 (SRT, E2 grips, etc.).

I highly recommend the P226 22LR, either as a full pistol or as a conversion kit.

I have the original p226 22 classic and it is extremely reliable and shoots very accurately. I modified my magazines so it holds open on the last round.

I bought new 3D printed magazine followers and installed them. Took a couple minutes. GSdesigns is where I got them from

Ahh, so it seems to appear that they don't sell the specific followers only anymore. That sucks, certainly can't justify replacing my mags for it.

They still do. 11 bucks for the follower to install on existing mags, 40 bucks for new mags which include them.

I have one, very decent pistol. Mine has the conversion kits in 40, 9mm, and 357 as well. It's accurate enough, but nowhere near a good quality target 22. - dan

How long is the slide? I know the 226 comes as a 4.6” or 5” or 6”. I was thinking a 5” and wondering if this .22 cal conversion kit slide will work on the 5”.

It was very accurate when I tried it, more than me. I think I shot the 4.4" so I can't help you there.
