Sig p226 357 sig with extre 40 cal. barrel.

I saw a Sig P226 with 357 sig and 40 cal. barrels. This is a refurished item and in like new condition for $1050. Is it a good deal ? I do not know much about 357 Sig. ammo. Please advise.
 
Not sure where you saw it, but epps has the same refurbs I think slightly cheaper?
But you`d have to check there websight to be sure! Dont no much about 357 sig either, but from what I have heard it sounds like a pretty decent caliber.
 
Ahhhh..... That's a VERY GOOD DEAL!!! If you had a Sig226 in 40 S&W, and wanted to buy a new 357 Sig barrel, it would cost you around $350 to $400 just for that barrel...

We sell the new guns for $1099, and a barrel is $249 (SIG made Barrel). If the gun is in very nice shape it is a good deal, but not real good.
 
It is a refurished. What do you think ? I don't know whether I need the extra barrel because 357 SIG ammo may be expensive too. Also, I think I like the stainlees steel better. How much would be a p226 40 cal. in stainless steel ? Thanks for advise.
