SIG P226 Aftermarket Grip?

Try the Hogue Alum's or their G-10 models. I have them on most of my Sig's now and they work great. Hogue will ship to Canada as well which is a bonus. They are pricey but still cheaper than the Sig alum. grips being offered up here and their shipping is quick.
Check out their web-site, although they don't have pictures for all their different models. Some of the G-10's have quite aggresive checkering and some are almost smooth so be careful when ordering. Don't ask how I found that out.

Make that +2 on the Pachmayr Signature grips.
I've got them on my NP-58, very fat grip I find nice to hold on to!

I have the G-10 Piranha Extreme grips that came on my P226 Extreme. Grip feels awesome.....
SIG Grips
I have a few sets of grips for my SIG's. For beauty and comfort, it's hard to beat either of the two different sets of NILLs I have one of which has a carved in mag funnel. They are silky smooth and yet give plenty of grip for me. They are also relatively slim unlike the beautiful but horribly "fat" wood grips I got on my Equinox. Don't even think of wood SIG grips as come on certain models unless you have large hands or long fingers.
I have two sets of SIG Aluminum panels one black and the other "natural white". They are slim, light and provide excellent grip qualities for my hand. The only down side is that the black anodizing isn't tough enough and white aluminum will show through with scratches. I bought a black marker for touch ups. It works OK but it's still paint and the colour isn't the same as black anodizing. I modified the black set to fit my X-Five with a few minutes of very careful Dremel carving that is on the inside of the panels and doesn't show.
I have a rubber set with finger grooves by Hogue for the SIG's and have learned from these and others that I have that I don't like finger grooves. They are simply in the wrong places for my fingers and actually interfere with a technically sound grip. On the relatively cheap rubber Hogues that I have for two guns including my revolver, I cut and sanded off the bottom finger groove so they are now usable and soak up the sting from recoil but they are not my favorites.
When I first got my X-Five I found it difficult to reach the magazine control so I took a file and sand paper and very gradually made changes to accommodate my fingers better. I also removed a mm or so from below the tang where it meets the web of my hand. They are functional but not pretty. I've since installed moderately longer mag controls on both my SIG's. These were made by Gray Guns.
For IPSC shooting where I don't always use grips with a mag funnel, I think I like the SIG aluminums the best. They are fairly aggressive and fit my hand as well as anything.
