Lol, not gonna lie, I too prefer the looks of the beaver tail.
Well what red blooded Canadian man doesn't like beavertail?
At Cabela's I handled both versions of this 226. I have no real reason why I prefer the feel in my hand of the beavertail model over the standard frame. Something in me just feels right when I grab and hold the beavertail model. Since it was the last model of it's kind in Cabela's inventory and the display model I picked it up for $549.99. Now that can't be beat anywhere.
