Sig p226 in 22lr

I am looking foward to buy a Sig P226 in 22lr from Questar, but I can't find information about the 9mm conversion.

I know you get a coupon to buy a 9mm conversion (or other calibers), but do you have to import it from the US? Or those some sponsors like Questar already have some 9mm conversion in stock? And at what price?

Ive got a .22 conversion, works well, no complaints seems to be well built and has a good fit. Bought mine before the dollar went nuts and I belive I paid $369 for it? Still lookin` for spare mags for it as it comes with only 1 mag.

Not sure if the .22cal 226 pistols have actually made it into the country yet, but Im sure if you email Questar they will anwser your questions

Thanks for the info, I have seen on Questar website that they received some P226 in 22lr, but I am still not sure about the 9mm conversion..

If you want some mags in 22lr, I think Questar has some in stock!
 
22 conversion kit is like 475.00 ++ now....369.00 and I would buy it right now! I am jealous of your good deal!
 
Hmm....damn $100 more. Where was I taking a nap during all of this.

Still tempted to buy a conversion.
 
Has anyone bought the p226 in 22lr (not the 22lr conversion kit) and then bought a 9mm conversion? Is it really 400$ for the 9mm conversion?
 
a 226 with a conversion was the route i was looking at taking to get into centerfires, though i was thinking norc 226 clone and a sig 22 conversion. No idea if it'd work though, but it'd be a cheap way of getting into centrefire and also have a rimfire to shoot.
I do think the 9mm kit is in the 400-500 dollar range. I remember seeing the poster one of the dealers made and it had that price on the poster i believe.

I have also seen the poster of the conversion at 400$ (from Questar), but it seemed to dissapear, I can't find any info about these 9mm conversion... Thank you for your reply BTW
 
Okay, I just bought (took delivery) of one of the new P226 Classic in .22LR. It's quite nice. Hey, it even came with the 'rail' on the dust cover, not that I will ever use a weapon light, but maybe I should attach one, just for increased LCV (look cool value). :D

This P226 Classic comes with an M1911 inspired beavertail, I'm so impressed! ;)

Here's the even better part: This P226 comes with a super short length (hey, that's why I like my 1911's) trigger in SA (cocked) mode. Just like my single stack 9mm 1911. Fabulous, I can shoot this baby similar to my 1911. I'm super happy.

My wife loves the P226 with it's super light aluminum frame. She's just tickled. :eek:

As soon as I get a free weekend (one M14 clinic per month it seems....) to snowshoe into my range, then I can get a simple range report!! Hey, maybe I can get up there this coming weekend, on Sunday perhaps??

I'm interested in seeing how it shoots. I'm always fond of the Federal Bulk Pak 525 count boxes from Ukrainian Tire. They worked well with my Kimber conversion kit in .22LR, mounted on my Norinco .45 frame!! That's the only kind of .22LR ammo I've got right now, unless I hit the Cambodian Tire store here in town and buy 50 rd boxes of various makes... :rolleyes:

I do have to say, I'm quite excited to shoot this P226 .22LR Classic!

If anyone is interested in a .22lr conversion for a Sig 226, I have one for sale in the rimfire exchange section. Make me a reasonable offer.
