Sig P226 - is there another gun?

Have you tried The Shooting Edge? They seem to have a decent selection. However, there seems to be a problem with their price list - I paid $100 more than what's listed...

Yes I did, there price list does not reflect their stock, although by what they posted here it does not seem to be their intent. I will give them awhile because I really would like a fancy new Sig stainless, plus it won't hurt to build up the bank account for a bit.

I publicly apologize for this.

Here's our tale of woe...

Last August we were approached by SigArms (yes, they came to us) with a basic offer to act as a Western Canada distributor. We were sceptical. However we played along and ordered guns and set up our price guide accordingly...

Then the fun and games began.... Back and forth, back and forth on whether they should or shouldn't sell us guns.

In the end they decided we were too much bother and told us to go away  !!

We are currently sourcing our Sigs overseas and while we are trying to keep the prices down, we have had to make adjustments as we are no longer feeding directly from the trough. I am hoping to get our new pricing up in a couple of days.

Again, my apologese.

Really? I went to Double Action in Michigan to rent guns at least half a dozen times and no problem with purchasing ammo and they know I'm Canadian.

renting the guns and buying the ammo is different than just buying ammo. when you rent a gun you can use the ammo there. they won't let you leave with the gun.
you don't need any thing other than some form of payment tp buy the ammo. however, if you get stopped by some government agency without the proper documents, it's off to kooba for some fun in the cell.

so the SIG is gone than? You basically traded for a USP in 45 cal. Man thats too bad, I really liked that SIG. R.I.P.

Yup the Sig is gone. Italian will be getting it back to resell. You're right, it really is too bad, that gun felt so good in my hand, but the mourning :( period is overI am excited :D about shooting the USP45.

TSE, doing international business is a pain in the ass, glad that you explained it, sounds like I need to write SIG a wanker letter.
