I don't even really like the vestigial beavertail on the Legion...I would've preferred the standard P226 look...hmmm, a "classic" Legion model styled like a non-railed 1980s P226 would really pique my interest.

I agree. Rails ruin the look of classic guns.

I found the Legion SAO trigger to be quite heavy. A 1911 would be a better option.

I have owned all 3.

Loved my MK25 with SRT shot it as my primary handgun for 4 years great tactical style pistol for courses and used it in IPSC, got me placed top 3 in IPSC production a few times. Figured I should get a legion, so i sold my MK25(big mistake) bought a legion. after 1000 rounds and a few 3 gun matches I wished i never got rid of my MK25, don't know if i was just too use to it. Until I tried a LDC....... the LDC has an amazing trigger night and day compared to a legion, perfect for competition but would never bring it to a tactical course to heavy and does not fit my Level 2 holsters.

Thinking about buying another MK25 and sell my legion and have my LDC strictly for competition use, MK25 for tactical courses.

I have the mk25 with the SRT and absolutely love it
