Just wanted to know what you are guys are using as a holster for your MK25. I've been wanting to run mine for a while, but am a bit undecided on what holster to look for. I currently use G-Code holsters for 3 gun, and would like to use my SIG as well, but unfortunately, G-Code does not currently offer a holster for the wider, combat frame MK25. What holsters are you guys using from other manufacturers, and how do you like them???

I just found this over on m4carbine...supposedly, the Safariland 7TS for the SIG P226R will also accomodate the MK25. I dunno...

You know what to do with the link. Wasn't sure whether to hotlink or not...but I'm sure that one of the "hotlink cops" would eventually inform me...

Solelycanadian.. p226r MK25 & Combat, in either concealment or competition style.

That's what I am using. Very nice holster with a little too much retention for action sport. If you are shooting ipsc, you might want a bladetech, they have a dedicated holster for the mk25.

Blade Tech makes holster specifically for the MK25. Haven't had a chance to see one yet, but it is on the website as MK25 specific.

I'm using the Safariland Model 7378 7TS™ ALS®, no issues, it's lighter then the 6378 that I use with my Glocks. The holster does not wear the finish, so if you have FDE finish like mine you are G2G.

Well maybe I got lucky. I found a NIB Blackhawk Serpa Holster while cleaning the basement and I'm surprized my MK25 works perfect with it.

Is the holster designated specifically for the P226R or is it for the MK25? Just wondering now because if it is for the standard railed P226 and your MK25 fits, then the other manufacturers who claim that their P226R holsters will not fit the MK25 may noy be giving us the correct info...??? Although I wouldn't think that they would do that, I'm almost tempted to pick one up to try...

Happy New Year to everyone, by the way...

I've got a Raven for mine, they used to ship directly from factory but I'm not sure if they still do that... OST is their retailer up here now I think.

Nope not designed for the MK25. It says 220/225/226 with rail if I recall correctly.

I'm using the SIG P226 TACOPS in .40 cal out here in BC.

Most of the time I make it to the range, it's either usually cold (as it's early in the morning on top of a mountain) or raining - so I'm pretty keen on wearing some sort of protection against the elements.
Coats, sweaters, fleeces, get in the way of a belt holster's operation - so I opted for a thigh rig (yes, yes, that was the reasoning I gave my wife for 'studying' all the different versions of thigh rigs on the 'girls with guns' thread ...)

I run the Safariland 6305 SLS / ALS Tactical Holster with the Quick Release Leg Strap.

SLS = this is the locking hood over the back of the slide (when the pistol is holstered)
ALS = this is a spring loaded metal piece inside of the holster that automatically clicks into the ejection port recess
Quick Release = This allows me to keep my belt on while taking the holster off.

With the firearm on my leg, I am free to wear coats, fleeces, whatever - as the weapon is now located about 4 inches blow my belt line.
