SIG P226 Owners: Ever try your P226 in an M12 Holster?

Need some advice from you CGNutters with SIG P226 (maybe P220) owners:

Got an M12 holster for my 1911's, Browning HP and Beretta M9 bangsticks....

Have any of you ever tried fitting a P226 into such an M12 (Issued USGI) holster ?

I sold my P226 a year and a half ago without ever trying this. Bianchi website says, it might not fit... so I'm guessing on the negative side of my query.....

Any experience, feedback or advice would be useful.

I seem to recall that it was a bit too tight, to the point where it would slightly push the slide out of battery. But who knows, maybe that's just our holster.

Barney, I must have a wierd Sig P226. Why? Mine fits perfectly in a M12 holster. Regards, Richard

The M12/M84 holsters protect the weapon well and are effective for military or boondocking purposes. I would not consider one for CCW purposes. Regards, Richard
