Sig P226 Parts?

I'm wondering if anyone knows where a person can buy sig parts where they just happen to be in stock versus the 6 to 10week kind of response. I'm looking for the simples stuff like a spring kit and possibly a #7 front sight.

If anyone knows of a good shop would like to hear from them.

TSE carries sum SIG parts and sights, ellwood epps maybe, or P&D...I imagin that any of them would order the parts for you if they dont have them.

I ordered my parts from Brownells. They were pretty good about things and it did not take too long. I would prefer to buy locally though. Get the armourer DVD if you do buy from them. It is a great thing to have when you want to do a detailed strip/maintenance or parts replacement.

Sigarms sells parts on their website too.

They sell parts but unlike Kimber they won't ship to Canada. I tried to get something directly from them 2 weeks ago and was pretty disappointed. I've gotten stuff from Brownells in less than a week. They have a very slick shipping setup complete with tracking etc.

R. Nichols has a reputation for very poor customer service. They prefer Gov't and Military type orders, not Civilian sales.

No kidding, I phoned them up and asked about parts, only because SIG Arms told me to call them. The response I got was to go to Wholesale Sports or some other store which turned out to be the Canadian Tire on MacLeod Trail.

Going to Wholesale Sports turned into a monster run around so I gave up.

Oh, and good luck getting a #7 sight, SIG Arms only imports the #6 and #8 sights, so the .40s and .45s usually shoot low because they have a #6 front and a #8 rear, although it depends on the load you're using. Brownells only has those heights.
