Sig P226 question.

In the future when I have more available funds I really would like to have a p226 in .357 sig.

I absolutely love the look of the equinox, but it only comes in .40. So if I purchased it, then a .357 sig barrel is there any reason that it would not work?

If I understand correctly there should be no reason that it should be a problem, but it's either p226 equinox in .357 or the p220 equinox.

it will work. basically if you get a 40, you can throw a 357sig barrel in there and good to go. you can use the same mags and everything . infact on the sig 40 mags it says both 357sig and 40s&w but if you want to go 9mm it will get a little bit tricky,

With the right barrel it shouldn't be an issue. I think Storm Lake makes one.

I have a sig 226 .40, bought the 357sig bbl(was a sig bbl). Awsome little caliber... but basicaly your stuck to loading certain hollow points, as the neck is so damn short. Sold of my .357 sig stuff, and am perfectly happy with .40

Can you do the same thing with a 9mm barrel or would that need something more than mags and a barrel?
