Sig p226 sight adjustment?

Hey guys! Looking for input on how to adjust the dovetailed sights on my p226. Preferably without ordering the sig pusher tool thats $200 and impossible to find it seems. Thanks!

There are universal sight pushers for around $60-80. Check ebay.

Buy the $200 impossible to find Sig sight pusher or bring it to a smith. I have zero experience but I've read horror stories on universal pushers slipping off and causing damage to Sig's.

Universal tools, parts, machines universally do nothing well, but they do it all.

Besides if you buy it you can lend it to me!

Where are all these horror stories you speak of? Mine works perfectly fine.

There is also the MGW sight pushers for around $120 from Brownells.

Keep trying and it will eventually shoot straight.

Not so much for SIGs they are retard tight, my smith and I couldn't get it to move with a 3 pound sledge and a punch. Sometimes you need the pusher.

Heh, heh, - I'm ashamed to confess I have adopted this attatude on more than one occasion!

Billfox226 - go with the brass punch (I wrap it in tissue) if ya don't live close to Shawn.
