Folks, just want to share that I had bought an SRT kit for my P226 last 2012 and was running fine until I came across an issue of intermittent long trigger reset.

The issue:

@2.34, that's where the long reset happens when the trigger bar overhangs the bottom of safety lever as lever is short.

I suggest watching the whole video to be aware of the positions of sear and trigger bar during short-reset and long reset issue.

The fix:

Sig has been selling the recent production SRT kits with long safety lever so the trigger bar could not hang below it. It's called the lever-9.
If you have the old one (short safety lever), you might want to replace it. It is available from Sig. I called calgary shooting centre and I was advised to email them but no reply to date. Hence I already ordered it from Sig and received it.

Hope this helps.

There's an issue #2 when using the SRT kit but is uncommon. It's when during single-action, hammer cocked, upon pressing the trigger, it acts as a decocker rather than dropping the hammer all the way to fire a round.
