Not having too much luck with online ordering lately. Ordered a Sig P226 Tacops online from a site sponsor and the gun came with the regular Sig night sight in the front instead of the Truglo fibre optic sight which it's supposed to have. Anybody heard of this type of mistake happening where the factory installed the wrong kind of sights on a gun? I have contacted the dealer who will contact the Sig rep for a resolution but am kind of annoyed considering the cost of the gun.

Some of the reading I've done on other forums suggests Sig is sending them out like that now. Apparently there have been many complaints about the fiber optic rod falling out of the TruGlo front sight (it's happened to mine too). I would replace it with the Siglite front sight if I could find one (this seems to be a popular replacement in the US where they can get things like that easily). You may actually be ahead of the game and saved yourself some money and trouble. It was a nice sight while it lasted, which was about 250 rounds.
On Sig's website they still show that it comes with the Truglo front sight. Not sure what to think now.
The sig fiber optic sight sucks so consider yourself lucky
If you want a better upgrade, get the sig X-ray sights.
I have the X-ray on my legion. I'll see if I can get the dealer to do something for me. They are nice sights.
no problems with my front sight yet, but I got the gun used... and cant find the proper base plates for the mags. Changed out my grips to be able to get the mag in better/easier. Other than the front sight, it basically an elite as far as I can tell.
