I have been looking at the Sig Sauer P226 Tacops. In the States it comes with a 20 round magazine that looks really slick with the magwell and extended grips.

Unfortunately, with the 10 round restrictions here, the magazines included with the Canadian units are not flush like the pic above. I have been searching for a solution to have the magazine look as close to stock as possible. My google searches have found this option:

I was hoping someone else here might have found a better option.

Thanks for your help!

Yes the Tac-ops is available with the extended or flush mags.

SIG-E26R-9-TACOPS = Extended mags

SIG-226R-9-TACOPS = Standard Flush mags

Thanks all.

I was able to pick it up today and fire it. It did in fact come with 4 made in the USA Check mate mags that everyone seems to hate. I ran each mag twice and had one failure to extract and not once did the slide remain open on the final round. To be fair I shot it without first field stripping and lubing as I normally do. Should I be concerned or chalk it up to being a new gun.

I already have an email into Mecgar about pinned 20 rounders and intend to call Sig to see if I can get MecGars instead.

Thanks for your replies!

20 rounder mecgar mags can be ordered from northern republic website. Cheaper than questar. I'm waiting on mine. Gd luck!

Does anyone have any experience with the checkmate vs mec gar .40 mags holding 9mm rounds? Are they both capable of doing it? I thought I recalled reading that only the checkmate mags can do it with no issues.

Lol I feel stupid. Noob I am I thought you were a Magazine and never clicked your link. Just placed an order for 4. Expected when i October?

Thanks again.
Can't say exactly. Anything coming out of the US has been entirely inconsistent from month to month. Sometimes it's early, sometimes it's mid moth, the last shipment we got arrived on the 30th of August much to our (and our customers) frustration. But we all play with the cards we're dealt.
