Just picked up a semi used Sig P250 full frame in 9mm. I've heard good things. If you own one tell me what you think. I paid $350 and used once at the range. Also has night sights. Would like to convert to .40S&W eventually. Modular aspect was one factor that I like. Where can one buy the conversion kits? Thanks

I have one, It shoots great. No failures to feed or fire so far. Pretty accurate once you learn to handle it steady during the trigger pull.

Not sure about Conversion kits, but the price of the conversion kit will be close to the the price of the gun :)

I did change the recoil guide rod and spring on mine. The stock one is plastic, weak material, I installed solid stainless steel one from an USA seller. Flat shipping 10$ to canada, no additional fees.

I got the rod and spring from this place : http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=306&categoryId=56

DA pull is the best I have tried so far, smooth and not heavy. It is just long.

It is a great DAO pistol in my view. Very reliable so far, easy to disasemble and clean.

What spring weight did you try when you ordered the stainless steel rod?

this is what they recommended :
--------
I was going to put a 16# spring in but I can make it 18#. If you are shooting 9mm I would probably just stick with the 16# and if you are shooting 40 I'd say a 17# would be good.
---------

I was initially with impression I got 18#, but It seems to be 16# on a second read :)
