Sig p250

I have a 9mm. Decent gun, take down lever was a nightmare at first. Very accurate gun, trigger press is super long (double action). Lots of stovepipes, too, when I first began shooting it, but that too has sorted itself out after it was used a bit. Once you get over the unique characteristics, it's decent. I hated it at first but wouldn't go back to my 226 now. Not sure how a .45 would differ.

I've seen a few sponsoring stores with .45 mags on their website. Definitely easier to find than 9mm.

I have one in 9mm and I really like it. The trigger pull is long but it's very light and smooth with almost no stacking. I find it to be very accurate as well and mine has worked perfectly right out of the box. As for mag availability the new P227 is reported to use the same mags as the P250 so they should be readily available.

Stay away from them! SIG Sauer has had at least three major agencies reject them:

1. US Federal Air Marshals issued them for less than a year before switching back to their old P229s.
2. Eliminated from ATF trials due to a high number of stoppages. SIG appealed to the GAO and lost.

3. Dutch police order cancelled due to quality issues.

Get an M&P if you want a .45 that isn't a 1911.

Thinking of trying the p250 In 45 Looking for some input on them from the people that own or shoot. And is there any spare mags floating around

The P250 doesn't have a very good reputation. IMHO, I'd wait for the P227 or look at other options like the GLOCK 21 or H&K45.

Shot a few glock was never a big fan of them, dont shot 45 that much but im all set to to reload and have a huge stock pile of brass and lead, reason why i was looking for a budget 45. If im going to drop 1000$ ish im just going to get a p220
