I'm thinking of buying one of these. Not sure if I want the full size or smaller one, but I found one place that has the full size for just over $900. Before I pull the trigger, am I wrong in thinking that price is a bit high?

What seems to be the going rate for these pistols from Canadian retailers?

Often the higher priced guns come with night sights and the cheaper ones with contrast sights. Something to consider if you plan on getting night sights later.

Good point.

The pictures I'm seeing on both websites show the gun with an external slidelock safety. I didn't think this gun had a safety. Can they be purchased without the safety?

The 3 controls visible on Cabela's site are the take-down lever, the slide release and the mag release. No external safety.

I believe the only variant of the 320 with an external safety is the US army M17:

Yep my bad.

Slide stop/release.

Sold out at most places including Cabelas. At least the last time I looked they were. They are getting harder to come by as demand for the P320 is very high right now thanks to the new army contract. 750$ish is the normal price for the standard model.

My 2.0 m&p arrives Monday. But I prefer the p320 to m&p 1.0, 226 and g17 so far. I own all of them.. I bought a 2nd p320 cuz I liked it so much. I just need a compact conversion now

My m&p 2.0 arrived today.... Huge improvement over stock m&p. P320 trigger is still better. The stock frames the 2.0 wins. Very aggressive grip texture.

I'll have to put down some range time. But the m&p feels like it handles better.. it could just be that I'm more use to it tho as I've done some courses with the original m&p

Glock 17, Smith 2.0, SIG 320
Different flavors all effective.
Your hand and finger is the only judge of which is right.

I would pay more then 750 for one. Or all of them.. The current deal is on the Smiths for 600 if you look hard.
