Good day folks!

Since reading about the up coming UN marking nonsense, I have been planning out a 9mm purchase. I'm giving myself until the middle of may to save and decide. The 2 pistols i keep coming back to are the new Shadow 2 and the rumored upcoming P320 target.

Thing is, since shotshow, i havent heard a whisper about the target model 320. Anyone have more information or know anyone In-the-know?

I'm also open to other suggestions for a nice 9mm in the same price range (1350 ish max). I want a looker with nice bells and whistles, longer slide (4.7+) and adjustable sights.

Havn't shot the shadow II yet...but the shadow i is awesome...still one of my favourite pistols......and my sig p-320...not sure if the target model will improve it much....it's dead nuts accurate out of the box...both firm keepers in my safe..however, never say never.....just maybe the target will be that good...Otherwise...Sti fan...that budget will get you a very nice 'trojan'..or many other 1911's..

Word is that the Target will now be called the P320 X Five, and will have an aluminum frame. Reportedly it will have 5 inch barrel, FO front sight, and a adjustable rear sight.

Seriously? Where are you seeing that? Seen any leaked pics? Sounds like a winner!

No pictures unfortunately. I have now seen this info on both SIG forums. An employee of Gray Guns mentioned the aluminum frame part. Some of the info came from a Davidson's dealer site.

...I think the P320Rx (320 with the Romeo 1 optic milled onto the slide by the factory) will be available up here before the 320 Target.....you can use the 320Rx in USPSA Carry Optics div and the rumored for Jan 1/2018 IPSC Production Optic div.....it still has the fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights on it as well, already was a Cabella special sale item and starting to show up on some store shelves in the US.............reportedly for about $700 something US, a smoking deal

Good intel. Thanks. Looking forward to more details.

The Tanfoglio Stock 3 is in the same price range as the Shadow 2. Might want to look into that.

Wow it sounds as if the 320 target may be more pistol that i first thought! May be worth holding out for.

I am in no way stuck on the top price tag i gave previously, obviously lower price means more to feed it! I would have considered the PPQ Q5 if i didnt already have a 5in in 40. Ive thrown around the idea of the SPF9, P226 and others, but the shadow 2 really caught my attention. The TS and the Canadian Edition are real lookers too, but just too far north of my wallet size.

Kinda wondering what happened to this gun. Max Michel has used it in some Production gun shooting competitions but it seems to be MIA for the general public.
