I feel like a bit of an idiot as I had found the model of a sig hand gun that had a really red wood grip that I was looking to get and for some reason I can't find the link to it anymore. I remember seeing it on this forum and on one of the dealer's sites if anyone knows what model this is I would appreciate a heads up I think it was a 226 but I'm not 100% sure.

heres a picture of the redwood grips in my elite. excuse the griptap, temporary fix till i buy some houges

That's the one thanks very much guys and the pic was very helpful. I think this will be my first hand gun provided I can make the numbers work ... they are NOT cheap.

its definitly a great pistol. i like it a little better than my roommates glock 21 in 45 acp, and about equal to my friends 1911. i got that one right around the big jump in price, so i lucked out getin a good deal on it

I found the redwood grip too large for my hand so had to settle for the standard black rubber/plastic one. Better to shoot well than look good, but I sure liked the redwood. Hope you have bigger hands. :)
