SIG rifle WTF

Yep, no way that is anything but an AR mag. Galil mags are significantly different. A very cool mod, to be sure. Someone here, experiment now! :)

There are several things wrong on that gun. It is much closer to a 550 than a 540. The mag release, sight, rubber guard, stock, etc are all 550. My guess is a movie.

If you want to see 543's, watch "Leon: The Professional"

I believe its real. these thugs are ingeneous and will do what it takes to make their heat work. I bet there is a screw in the hole on the left side of the 'missing pin' gun, holding the upper and lower together, kindof.

First pick shows the mag release in the right spot, so don't think the image is doctored, and no way of telling what contraption they have added to the top of the mag to get it to fit or seat half right.

There looks to be a tab welded to the spine of the mag, which may engage the SIG catch. It is likely not an AR mag, due to the length.

The side stampings which reduce the internal width for the mag have also been changed.

Looks like a FAMAS mag or equivalent..
