I got a sig sauer 1911-22 last summer got 2 problems with it getting lots of jam and when I tilt the gun to the left my slide stop try to get out and jam the slide. I found a solution for the jams sanded the side of the slide from the interior and removed the paint it helps a lot but did not figured what to do with my slide stop jamming my slide. It's only happening when I tilt to the left.

**Update the 1911-22 have been repair by a gunsmith last winter it had a problem with the spring inside that catch the latch and the latch have been change from spare part from a Colt 1911 and the gun now work perfectly

that is a colt that saved a sig...

To be correct, the SIG SAUER 1911-22 is produced by GSG GmbH (German Sport Guns) and is simply a rebranded GSG 1911 produced on the same production line. The L&O Group, the Swiss based manufacturing firm that owns SIG Sauer, bought a controlling interest in German Sport Guns several years ago and that's why they are allowed to use a SIG Sauer name. Other wise, it's just a GSG pistol. Indeed, a number of the GSG 1911 parts is replaceable by the Colt 1911 parts.

Get this ZRTS Ultimate Performance Package for GSG 1911-22 made mine a lot better

That's a great idea! I put the ZRTS kit on my GSG 1911 some five years ago. Never ever had any problems with any brand of 22LR ammo. My GSG 1911 has already 3,500 shots through a tube and still shoots like a champ. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that the ZRTS Package is discontinued. There is no trace of it on the Blue Line Solutions webpage anymore. Now they sell individual parts from the Package but the total price for all the parts consisting the former Package is much higher. Only one ZRTS Package is available at Bullseye, London.

Another vote for ZRTS pkg I also did the sanding and smoothing of the inside rails and the ZRTS kit and mine runs practically flawlessly with anything I have tried in it so far all the bulk brands.

i picked one up from Wolverine Supplies just a few weeks ago. I’m eager to test it out once my range reopens

As has been stated this gun is really just a GSG 1911. There are a lot of better .22LRs out there. The GSG is fussy for ammo for one thing. It wears out pretty fast as well I think. Get a Ruger Mark lll or a Browning Buckmark, much better guns.

They can be fussy on ammo for sure, so CCI mini mags are the way to go for ammo and they are dead nutz reliable. As far as wearing out fast, I pounded well over 25,000 rounds thru one in two seasons of shooting speed steel etc and that gun is still going strong so I must disagree on that statement.
Yes there are better .22's out there, but the Ruger and the Buckmark are both ugly as sin, and to me guns are like women, ya gotta like what you are holding :)

I have found that the gun operates most reliably on high velocity ammo. Well duh! CCIs are clean and free of grease as well as quite polished and they seem to be the gold standard in this pistol for me. The Sig is better finished than a GSG branded piece. At least it was when I bought mine.

again do the upgrade and the fussy is gone
