Aww, see your add was wrong initially as it didn't say 5 diff height sights so I went with another vendor,, perhaps next time!

Are these actual made by Sig or just branded Sig ?

They are made by GSG (German Sport Guns) in Ense, Germany and have nothing to do with Sig Sauer except the name. All in all, the GSG 1911/Sig Sauer 1911 is an excellent pistol more so with the ZRTS Performance Package. Stainless steel package makes the GSG 1911 close to a target pistol. Very accurate. The price at Tenda is a steal with two mags. I bought my GSG 1911 several months ago and I'm very happy with it. At that time I didn't know that Tenda would have it on sale for measly $349. Too bad.

Man, did I completely miss out. I noticed the update said back in stock on the 4th. I imagine with a deal this good they are all gone again? Any more coming? Away for the weekend and missed it. Lol.

I know that the GSG finish on the slide is very easy to scratch and remove, do these sigs have the same finish? I only ask cause I'm pretty sure they are almost the exact same gun aren't they

Sig bought a controlling interest in GSG a few years back. They're identical except the name on the side. This is a phenomenal deal that I wish I'd jumped on. I purchased a GSG for about $70 more from a different site sponsor and will have to hold onto it because of return costs.

I can attest to this being a great gun. Bought one from Tenda when they first came on sale and have put 300+ rounds through it. For the first 50 rounds, it would have the occasional FTE... since the 5th mag its NEVER given me a problem. I was running cheaper bulk ammo as well as higher end stuff and it worked fine.

ONLY thing it doesnt like that I can find so far is hollow point ammo. Mine wont run more than one round at a time with anything hollow point. Anything round nose runs perfect.

A quick take on the one I bought from Tenda.

Great Sale price (yes it is exactly the same as the GSG).

Nice little plinker, I'm using bulk 22LR ammo (Federal Automatch RN) and get a failure to cycle slide (FTE) now and again. Approx 400 rounds so far.

The set screw to hold the barrel to the slide is annoying and I can see it stripping eventually - I bought a 94 dollar ZRTS upgrade kit from Blue Line Solutions which negates the need for this screw (among other things).

The rear sight will eventually come loose - put a drop of blue loctite on the allen setscrew.

It has the annoying no mag trigger lock feature that some other manufacturer's use as well. Keep an empty mag with it.

It comes with 2 mags - I got spares from Brownell's on sale.

Overall for this price it is a no brainer - buy one.
