Hello All,
I have a sig scorpion 1911 in .45 just as sig made it.
Trying to find parts to kit it out for competition shooting, and cant find much available/compatible and less people that want to work on them...
Looking for compensators/breaks, 9mm barrel conversion, extended releases etc.

Anyone play with these at all? What was your experience?

No such thing as a 9mm conversion barrel. The slide breech face is completely different.

Everything else is just 1911 parts. Dont need to be brand specific to Sig.

PS: all 1911 parts needs to be fitted. And i mean break out a file kind of fitting.
I have a sig tacops, shot it once and shelved it. Its an ok gun for what it is, there are better options out there.

Sorry, *meant to add kit for the 9mm part, like the 22 slide kits you see. I know the 1911 has alot of fitting involved, but I was told the sig models were somewhat proprietary?
I know the slide has a totally different contour, so any kind of compensator wouldn't fit quite right, was hard enough to find a holster...

I know there's other options for pistols( I actually really want a shadow 2...) but I'd like to keep this one and use it to its fullest.

Sig isnt really proprietary, for the most part they are series 80 internal with an external extractor.

Regular kydex holster fit, as long as it has adjustable tension screw. My holster is just a regular KT mech holster that i have for a para ordnance double stack.

If its a hardshell like a serpa then yes you may have a problem fitting it.

As far as 9mm conversion kit, no they dont sell one like that. But thats ok, its another excuse to buy a 9mm 1911.
