Sig Sauer 1911 users! HOLSTER ORDER

Just an update: I emailed Booth at Armordillo Concealment a few days ago just looking to see if any progress has been made with the pre orders. He confirmed that they had received enough preorders and would be purchasing the pistol and starting production on the orders in the next week or two.

So to anyone else here who put in a preorder, rejoice. We no longer have to make do with a dremeled up serpa (gross), and we don't have to put up with the high prices and poor quality of a custom ordered bladetech. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Great news! Hey just wondering, did the website calculate shipping for you when you placed your order? When I placed mine, it only charged me the cost of the holster. Not sure how I'd get the shipping money to him through (FRAUD ALERT).

Just curious if anyone has a report on how these holsters turned out. I have a 1911 TacOps, and would like to start using it for some 3-Gun matches in Heavy Metal.

What is the retention like for running around?

Thanks in advance

Great holster. Will be ordering one for my M&P as well soon. Retention is more than adequate for running around. You'll need a quick, sharp draw to get your gun out smoothly, just like any other pancake kydex holster. These are very well made holsters. I compared mine side by side to a Raven Concealment and dare I say, I thought mine was better made. I ordered mine in concealment thickness and it's more than strong enough. My only gripe is the screws that came with the molle clips are pretty soft. If you're just using the regular belt clips, it's not an issue.

That's the only downside. I think he charged me $25 for shipping. It was last year so I don't remember exactly. Still, for $75 it's still way less than a Raven.

I've run this through some pretty brutal drills and it's held up. I was cranking on it trying to clear a stoppage using one hand on the weekend. I was just waiting for it to rip apart but it never did.
