Looking for insight in how best to sell a Sig Sauer 226 .40S\W hand gun on this site. Yes i know it has to go through the CFO, and the purchaser must have a restricted license. I am looking for best advice on making the sale seamless. andGO!

Having access to the EE is your first step.
Including your location (either in your ad or your profile) would help.

Get your access to the equipment exchange.
Give an accurate description and how much you are selling it for. Is shipping included or extra. Is the price firm or OBO.
Add photos. You would be surprised how many will bypass an ad if no pictures are available.
Make your deal and collect the funds PRIOR to starting the transfer process.

Seller lists the well-described item, the price, and the terms. (The Seller dictates the terms.)

Accepting the price and the terms, the licensed (would-be) Buyer says "I'll take it." Seller says "It's yours." Buyer makes the payment in the stipulated manner, and time, and in the case of a firearm also provides proof of his licensure to the Seller. Seller accepts the payment, and - once that happens - Seller contacts the Canadian Firearms Program (CFP) to initiate the transfer. Seller then shares the transfer application reference number to the Buyer, so that the Buyer can himself contact the CFP, and facilitate the transfer. Both Buyer and Selley wait patiently.

Once the CFP advises both parties - Buyer and Seller - of the transfer's approval, the Seller obtains any necessary Authorization To Transport (ATT), packages the item (in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations), and then ships (or mails, or hands over) the appropriately-packaged item to the Buyer.

Buyer receives item. If there is to be a return, the return (of the item) is made first, before the refund (i.e.: the payment) is issued.

If, in the opinion of the Buyer, the deal is 'done' - the Buyer leaves appropriate feedback (for the Seller). Once the Seller is aware that the deal is 'done', the Seller can then leave appropriate feedback (for the Buyer).
