Not sure if there have been any posts on this. I tried a search but couldn't find anything.

Just saw recently a version of the SIG rifles in 22LR. Anybody heard more about these? It'll be nice to not have to pin the mags on these. Based on the MSRP in the site, it should end up being under $1000.

ROTFLMAO!

Questar has already confirmed a sub-thousand dollar pricing. Once again, I'm thoroughly impressed by you, JL. Your ass isn't meant for talking, buddy...

This is getting closer the attack that I mentioned above. 2 posts in a row. Boltgun

SIG Sauer announced a new .22lr rifle model 522 which is VERY interesting... if CFC doesn't classify it as a "Prohibited" variant... we can sell them here in Canada for @ $699 to $749 Canadian (with Red Dot);

This gun has definite appeal to moi. Question for those with knowledge of this piece. Is it like a .22 rimfire in scale or does if heft like a centerfire? I had a BRNO Fox in .222 with a set trigger, a very accurate gun, but so light it was like holding a Chipmunk which I found detracted from its offhand accuracy.

As opposed to your precious Glocks, right?

Well, your mom.

I don't see how anyone could justify charging anything over $800 for any semi .22 unless it's got the illustrated history of the Song dynasty hand engraved on the receiver.

I hope these do get in and aren't classed as variants. they are a bit expensive, but I would love to have one. Hopefully they don't "feel" cheap.

I'd educate you on price breakdown, capitalism and the concept of supply and demand, but I fear it would be a colossal waste of time. After all, the above is coming from a guy who thinks Glock is a superior weapon system compared to the H&K pistols. :jerkit:

it shouldnt be as"great" as the mosquito, it should be better.
id buy one, the price is ... "ok" not the greatest, but think about how much fun it will be , and how cheap it will cost to shoot a gazillion rounds through it. its the nicest 22 out there thus far, and i priced out a custom ruger 10/22 that would cost more than this . . and its still double for a AR in 22 , and this might be non restricted. plus its a sig.

And the other is coming from a guy that thinks owning H&K makes someone a tactical OPERATOR. You'd be surprised to find out that a rifle like that is worth maybe $80 with the labour when it leaves the factory. But then again, sodomy is accepted in today's society. It's got a nice stock on it though.

ya i hear its a whole new platform, just looks like real 5.56 version.

and stop the pissing match. its sad, fighting on the internet is like being in the special olympics , it doesnt matter who wins ,your still retarded.

its a nice gun, overpriced ,... yes
but we live in canada, we dont really have the choice to sit here and complain.
hk make nice guns, are they overpriced yes. but like everything in the gun world in canada, everything is overpriced,
are glocks great, yes they are . are glocks better than hk. or vice versa.
whos better in the sack, heidi klum or megan fox,
dont know about you, but id be happy with both :D

For a $1000 bucks I`d take that in a heartbeat, the lower looks like a standard 556 lower with the proper buttstock.
If were real lucky those lowers will fit on our Swiss arms uppers, then you have a Swiss arms with AR mags and a .22 upper.
Cherry on top would be if they use the Black dog .22 mags.
