SIG-Sauer AR15 (whoring thread)

Hm. I've read through the thread. I think the world needs yet another 1911 or AR clone like a sparrow needs a kite. I also think the Sig AR looks cool, but then, they all kinda do, and usually in exactly the same way..

I hope Mark from Questar, will answer this.

Will you bring some of those, specially the shorter barrel ones.7"or 10".

I understand restrictions from the US ,but sometimes some of them cross the border occasionally.

Thanks.

I disagree Road Kill. I think we need more out there and that everyone should have one. Each one of these guns sold is a flip of the bird to the liberals and gun control wankers, and more sleepless nights for the criminal element!

Plus, more competition means better quality and lower prices! These Sigs are really intriguing and hopefully one of the gun geeks will have a range report for us soon...

Well, I'm of the 'if someone wants my TV, they can have it' school of thought, but I would like a nice AR, so I agree that there should be more out there.

Yeah, I guess you're right about that. I'd love to be able to *afford* the AR I'd like to have at some point. I've been spending a *lot* of time at the Rock River website lately.

The product is totally "unknown" to SIG's commercial/retail division. They have no information on it and frankly I doubt we'll hear anything about it until the SHOT Show.

Who knows if/when they'll actually start shipping these for comercial sales. I'd be interested (if the pricing is competitive) but that is still unknown.

Mark

Since US dealers can't seem to keep AR15 in stock... I guess the US market could use another manufacturer...

I think this is less and less the case as time goes on. There's only so many people around with so much money to pump into ARs. A lot of stock is coming back online with a lot of stores and manufacturers again.

I bet these rifles will carry the same price tag as an MR223. Who needs a $4,000 AR anyway?

ATR & Dlask all the way!!!
