Anyone have any experience with these? The reviews I've read are very positive. It seems like a lot of value for $600.00. Anyone have any hands on experience?

I've had one for a month or so. Bought it mostly out of curiosity and to compare it to my Terrapin, i'm not sure yet if I'm going to keep it.

In the past i've owned a Leica 1200, Leica 1600 and also had some time behind a Bushnell Arc 1500.. the Kilo beats them hands down.

Extremely compact, stupidly fast ranging, angle compensation, good warranty. I've ranged reflective targets out to 2700 yds. I haven't been able to test it out on animals at long distances yet.

Negatives are no tripod mount and the beam is a little large.

I highly recommend this unit for the price, however If you're an extended long range shooter, there's something else just around the corner that you should probably wait for.

I have one too and so far love it but also only animals I've ranged have been some cows, nothing in a hunting senerio, ranged the water tower in town at 2980 if I remember correct I'll check again and edit if I lie. As far as tripod LRI makes a awesome billet aluminum mount in two variations for it and ships t Canada, but as you know another name for billet is pricy.

Tried the tower again today but it is a hazy fog with sun behind and not picking up, so distance is best I can remember and close as I have done other stuff like building and grain bins that far out.

Sig Kilo 2400.

As reported on Snipershide, it's ranging is 25% better than the Kilo 2000, improved glass, tripod mount.

There will supposedly be 3 models. basic model, Bluetooth model that will communicate with smartphone, and an applied ballistics model that has sensors for temp, pressure, humidity and has the A.B. firing solution and drag library built right into the unit.
