Hey Guys,

I just bought my first Sig M400 Enhanced and wanted to know what some recommendations might be on accessories such as a front end grip or a wrap arpund piticanny. I want to put a green laser dot and flash light combo along with some grip in the front. Also is there a break in procedure to this firearms or anything i should know about?
 
No break-in required, just shoot lots of ammo downrange... LOTS!

On the M400, I believe you can get a quad handguard to replace the Magpul one. It won't be free floating though. If you want it free floating, you'll have to do some work on your rifle ie need some specialty tools. You can buy add-on rails for your MOE handguard that will allow you to mount picatinny devices on it like a light etc.

Accessories? Hummm, optics would be a nice start. AR15... the adult Lego, the world's your oyster... limited only by the size of your wallet.
 
No break in. Pull trigger & smile, rinse, repeat.

Vickers 221 sling
Haley strategic thorntail offset or inline mount with surefire scout 300

I know there was a recent thread about this but some manufactures and experts would disagree. As I've said it before, when in doubt, do a break in procedure. As for the m400, I have one as well. It's your standard ar15 so any aftermarket accessory will work. You can add a quad rail without special tools or if you have access, you can run a free float handguard. The sky is the limit really.
 
*Drools* those free floating quad handguards are beyond bad ass!!! that is exactly what i want!! what kind of work is entailed im a machinist by trade so could do most of the work hopefully. Is there an option for free floating or not when purchasing one?
 
Guys seriously thanks for the input!!! im definitely gettign that sling, quad mount and the trijicon sight they have a cool compact reflex sight which looks great mounted
 
Here's my m400 enhanced. Like your it started off with the magpul handguard but I swapped it for a free float keymod. To do this, you must remove the handguard, the a2 front sight/ gas block, the delta ring and possibly the barrel nut (depends on the handguard as it may use and come with a proprietary nut). Then it's simple mounting instructions. Just make sure to have the right tools such as an ar15 wrench and torque wrench so you can tighten to spec. Oh yeah you will also need to buy a low profile gas block.
