I got one of these while I was waiting for my M&P ported CORE to arrive here in savannah...I purchased it without any research...only on how great it felt in the hand and how smooth the action was.

After getting home I looked the reviews and was pretty worried...but I took it to the range today and with CCI standards I functioned ok...had a few feed issued when it got dirty...3 out of 100.

Then the Aguila Super Maximum Ammunition was awesome...damn...it sounded like a 9mm...crazy round...about 4 out of 300 needed assistance to feed..

Over all better than my ruger 10/22...

I will work on that ramp a bit to help with the feeding...no stovepipes no other issues...the trigger is...bah...needs some work or I dont know if any after market exists...but its workable.

I have one and have had no issues with it. It does like the mini-mags. It's more of a safe queen after acquiring other center fired pistols. I will take it out if I have a newbie just to get them comfortable before graduating them to the big boys.

I hear ya....22lr aint cheap either anymore...80$ for a brick of that aiguila that's just nuts...but for plinking...a .22 is great...still cheaper than 9mm.

Hopefully your slide stays in 1 peice

Before I take mine to the range it gets a complete lookover. From what I understand the older models had issues with the slide cracking, the newer ones shouldn't (operative word shouldn't) be prone to this.

.........I wish you the best of luck

Don't let us scare you,I know 1 or 2 people the had success with theirs

So does the S&W 22A-1 but it's the frame that cracks. And I don't worry about it either. Shoot it and if it breaks, who cares. It only cost me $300 new.

+1 for loving the sig mosquito!

I bought it mostly for new shooters that I'm taking to the range. Yes, I heard about the slide cracking issues too. But with the cost of .22 ammo now, and the limited time I have to shoot anyways, I don't think I'll ever put north of 10k-30k rounds through this little gun.

Like the box says: Choot 'em.

and when it breaks, buy a buckmark ;)

sorry for bumping this one guys but man....

Been through 1500 rounds now...i only have praise for this little beauty...despite all the nays.

I polished that ramp and hammer face and had only one fail to feed today even after going through a whole brick of aigula...and some CCI standards, not bad for a .22lr It a nice practice pistol for sure!

Glad i got it.

I got one for my wife. Ergo's are great for small hands. It only likes Mini-Mags and has to be well lubed , but then pretty well functions flawlessly. A buddy has one and he polished the feed ramp and reports that he can pretty much shoot any ammo out of his.
