The search function here sucks, but it is useable. The short answer though is, don't buy this gun. Sig didn't make it, they just put their name on it, and it's famous for 2 things:
1) the cheap pot metal slide fractures.
2) it's really picky about what ammo it will reliable cycle.
Your mileage may vary.
There are many other better options, and my recommendation is a Ruger, either Mk.1, 2, or 3. While it's not the prettiest gun, it's dead reliable, eats any ammo you feed it, and mine (5.5" bull barrel Mk.1) is the most accurate pistol I own:
You will hear that they're difficult to strip and clean. Well, it takes some practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's no problem. Mind you, I haven't bothered to clean mine in years, and it still runs flawlessly. Most people overclean their guns anyway.
