Sig Sauer P210 trigger. Is my trigger wrong? Update: figured it out.

I just got my hands on an almost new Sig Sauer P210 Target. It is the smoothest handgun I have ever held and dry fired. Actual shooting to come as soon as I get my registration. While waiting for my registration to show up I have been living vicariously through YouTube videos. The thing is that the reviews and comments from those videos about the trigger characteristics do not match what I am feeling with my p210. The YouTube people describe the trigger as having a millimeter or two of slack on the trigger, then a wall where the trigger tightens up, then an immediate break after pulling just hard enough. That sounds like a good quality rifle trigger. What I am feeling with my p210 is more like the smoothest and lightest double action revolver trigger on the plant. There is a millimeter of slack, then a wall, when you pull past that wall its just smooth and constant pressure until the trigger suddenly break without warning. The "distance" of the double action feeling pull is about 4-5 millimeters long.

Anyone know why my trigger might be different from what I am seeing on the Tubes?

You are right, this handgun is smooth. Just great. I'd have to say my trigger is like the one you described about the youtube videos. Not how you describe yours (smooth/ligh double action). So I'd say maybe yours is different.

I figured it out. It took about an hour and the original diagram of the Swiss p210, but I figured out how the trigger works and how the American model is adjusted. It's quite a clever design. I've now set the trigger to its lightest pull with an ever so slight wall that breaks incredibly clean. I am amazed by this pistol. It's jaw dropping.

That's great. What did you do exactly?
