My first gun was a DA/SA X-Five in .40. It was a great gun out of the box but I had it upgraded by Grayguns to superstar status. If the X-Five has any downside, it's the size and weight. The latter helps make the gun a great shooter with the recoil and flip soaked up nicely. Just be aware that these are big guns. Magazines are expensive and very difficult to find in ten round versions. I had to pin mine and made up a bunch of others using P-226 mags for IPSC with home made basepads to fit the mag well.
