Sig stg 57

Anyone know if a civillian semi-auto was ever imported or are they selective fire.I think it's in 7.5x55.............Are they Prohibited or restricted?Harold

Prohibited. I think I read a while back that a few made it in, but I don't know if they'd be 12(3) converted autos or 12(5) semi autos.

Prohib. Over here they can be had for as much as 250.- bucks. I got the last one for free from a retired soldier with whom I once served.

I believe that the PE-57 was a semi-auto equivalent to the Stg 57, and the Sig AMT was a semi-auto version of the 510-4. I believe there are examples of both in the country, but both are prohibited 12(5).
