Hey guys,

Quick question...am I able to use the factory Norinco Mags in my Sig P226 without causing damage, jams or any malfunctions whatsoever...or am I better off sticking with factory Sig mags?

Message me if you can help me out!

thanks!

Stick with SIG mags. The Norinco mag I have is made of cheap steal and the slots for the mag release wear out quick leaving it usless.

I did not like the Sig Sauer P226 two piece magazines... the lower plastic portion moves slightly giving the feeling that the magazine is fully homed when it is not.

The Norinco come with a one piece steel magazine, allthough they are made from a lesser quality of steel they tend to work great.

I was paying $85.00 for my Sig mags and $ 30.00 for the Norinco mags. If you can get ahold of the Sig Sauer one piece steel magazines that would be better.

We have approx 12 x NP30's and none of them have any problems with the magazines yet.

I have a sig 226 in .40, and have 7 factory 10rd mags. The .40 doesn't have the extention(one reason I chose .40 over 9) and they all work 100%, fit 100% and drop out 100%. I payed less than the norinco mags for mine($20usd private deal, stateside). Brand new they run about 25-30usd each.
