SIG X-5 / X-Series availability

Hey MDC,

I was drooling over some of the European offerings of the SIG X-5s and was wondering about their availability to you, and therefore to us.

Specifically, I am interested in the P226 X-Five SO SA/DA in 9MM (from the German site), or the new X-Series XFive All Around in .40 S&W (from the US site).

And finally, what is your availability and price for the Barrel, P226, 9mm, 126mm, Chrome/Phosphate, Threaded (from the US site)? Any military discount?

Good morning,

Unfortunately, the German government is not issuing export permits for Sig Germany at the moment. What this means is the X-Five/Six, 210, SSG3000, and Tac 2 firearms are not currently available.

Sig is optimistic the export ban may be lifted this summer. As soon as we have an actual update, it will be posted here.

I don't think they trust the US side to do the required precision fitting, and rightly so.

Guys go to SIGtalks web site , there is step by step explanation how to get X5 from germany through german dealer , takes time (4 months ) Its better than listening bull s*hi*t from sellers like wait 1 week , wait another 2 weeks , wait cause SigSauer not responisble company and other excuses . Personally i waisted 3months PLUS to get stainless elite with 100% downpayment , i feel myself like an idiot . And recieving promises from dealers every 2 weeks .

I had a 226 LDC on paid pre-order for over a year before finally losing faith and switched to a 229 legion. Love sig but the lack of information regarding the German export ban is frustrating.

With our floundering dollar, my Supermatch will be about 4k.

The importer takes a 350 pounds, then 100 pounds for another pistol.

Thats true , but i got my X5 allaround in Canada for very good price .
